• Setting: Hospital-based Urology practice
• Contract: Travel contract — 24 weeks (Jan 12, 2026 – Jun 27, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours/week (guaranteed)
• Shift: 8-hour shifts; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekends/Holidays/On-Call: No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $790–$840/week
• Hourly Pay Rate: $26/hour
• Openings: 1 position

Qualifications — Medical Assistant / Clinical MA

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required; 1–3 years preferred (hospital or urology experience a plus)
• High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems strongly preferred (Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks a plus)
• Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication, patient-service, and clinical support skills for a fast-paced hospital clinic
• Ability to travel locally within the market as needed

Responsibilities — Urology Medical Assistant / Hospital Duties

• Support daily operations of a busy hospital-based urology practice as part of a collaborative healthcare team
• Greet patients, perform phone triage, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and manage front desk tasks
• Update, scan, and file patient medical records; ensure accurate documentation in the EMR
• Prepare patients for exams: obtain medical histories, record vital signs (height & weight), and enter data into EMR
• Assist providers with exams and urology procedures; prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
• Collect and process laboratory specimens; perform basic lab tests (urinalysis, PSA, testosterone)
• Perform diagnostic support and digital studies (bladder scan, Uroflow, PTNS) and document results
• Administer medications and injections as directed; remove sutures, change dressings, and manage catheters
• Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and coordination of hospital admissions and diagnostic services
• Assist with basic billing and coding tasks related to MA-performed procedures
• Maintain infection control: dispose of contaminated supplies and sterilize instruments per protocol
• Ensure timely follow-up for lab and imaging results; communicate provider instructions to patients
• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic flow and quality patient care
