Medical Assistant (MA) – Seattle, WA (First Hill / 98122): Immediate 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant with outpatient ENT/otolaryngology and Epic EMR experience. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius only.

- Position: Medical Assistant (MA) – Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Location: 747 Broadway, Seattle, WA 98122 (First Hill; walkable medical district)
- Type: Temp-to-Hire (13 weeks) — local-only Seattle healthcare job
- Start / End: April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hrs/wk; no weekends, no on-call)
- Shift: 8-hour days
- Clinic Setting: ENT outpatient clinic serving adults and pediatrics
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,080–$1,160 (competitive Seattle pay for Medical Assistants)
- EMR: Epic experience required
- Float: May float to Issaquah or Ballard clinics as needed
- Local Requirement: Proof of permanent residence within 50 miles required at submission
Job Requirements – Qualifications for Medical Assistant (MA)
- Experience: Minimum 6 months as a Medical Assistant in an adult outpatient setting; ENT experience preferred
- Certification: Medical Assistant credential required (CMA, MA-C, or MA-R accepted)
- Certifications: Current BLS (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Clinical Skills: Rooming patients, obtaining vitals/height/weight, documenting history/medications/allergies in Epic
- Administrative Skills: Insurance verification, prior authorization support, scheduling, follow-up phone calls
- Patient Population: Comfortable supporting both adult and pediatric patients
- References: Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
- Temp-to-Hire Commitment: Must confirm openness to permanent hire if offered
- Local Proof: Proof of local address (preferably driver’s license) required at submission
Responsibilities – Clinical Support & Patient Care
- Support efficient patient flow in a busy ENT clinic as part of the clinical care team
- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits; obtain and document vitals, height, weight, and clinical history in Epic
- Update and reconcile patient medications, allergies, and demographics to ensure accurate charts
- Assist with insurance verification, prior authorization paperwork, and scheduling follow-up care
- Perform follow-up phone calls and facilitate patient communication as directed by providers
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and front-office staff to deliver an excellent patient experience
- Float to nearby Issaquah or Ballard clinics as needed within your clinical skillset
