Medical Assistant – Dermatology Clinic Travel Opportunity in Seattle, WA
Experienced Medical Assistant needed for a dermatology outpatient clinic in Seattle’s First Hill area, a vibrant and centrally located neighborhood known for its access to great dining, healthcare facilities, and the energy of downtown Seattle. This travel, temp-to-perm healthcare opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong outpatient experience, and the potential to transition into a long-term role.

- Shift Duration: 10 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,080 - $1,160
- Orientation: Included prior to start
- Charting System: Epic preferred
- Work Environment: Outpatient care with opportunities to support multiple clinic locations within scope
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required
- Certified Medical Assistant credential required
- BLS certification required
- Prior experience in an adult outpatient setting strongly preferred
- Dermatology Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Ability to work a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule
- Reliable transportation required for travel between clinic locations
- Comfort working with adolescents and adults
- Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills
- Epic experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exams and dermatology procedures
- Take vital signs and record patient histories, medications, and allergies
- Assist with rooming patients and maintaining smooth clinic flow
- Support dermatology procedures such as dressing changes, suture removal, wound care, and aseptic tray setup
- Assist with biopsies, numbing support, and specimen labeling
- Handle follow-up phone calls, pharmacy refill requests, and authorization forms as needed
- Support immunizations and other routine clinical tasks within scope
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinic standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff to promote excellent patient care
