Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of MRI experience preferred in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting
- Current BLS certification
- Registered MRI Technologist credential through ARRT
- Ability to work weekend day shifts in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
- Strong patient care, communication, and MRI safety-screening skills
- Ability to operate advanced MRI equipment and follow imaging protocols accurately
- Compliance with facility vaccination and onboarding requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders, department standards, and imaging protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide a safe, comfortable patient experience
- Complete required MRI screening and safety checks before each exam
- Operate MRI equipment effectively while maintaining high image quality standards
- Collaborate with radiology staff, nurses, and other clinical team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient workflow in the diagnostic imaging unit
- Follow all facility policies related to patient care, infection control, and workplace safety
