• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,050 – $3,280

• Position: Travel Inpatient Pharmacist (Hospital Pharmacist)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Evening (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) or Overnight (8:30 PM – 7:30 AM Mon–Thurs; 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM Fri–Sun; 7 nights on / 7 nights off)
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site — Inpatient pharmacist role
• Start Date: April 20, 2026

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD or RPh required
• Valid Virginia pharmacy license or compact license in hand at time of application (no exceptions)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience required (Inpatient Pharmacist / Hospital Pharmacist experience)
• EPIC charting experience required — experience with EPIC medication management and documentation
• IV experience, pain controlled analgesia (PCA), antibiotics, drug interactions, order entry, and medication order verification required
• Chemo experience, anticoagulants, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing preferred
• Professional dress or hunter green scrubs required (scrubs not provided)
• No prior license or background hits accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)

Key Responsibilities — Inpatient Pharmacy / Travel Pharmacist

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting as a Travel Pharmacist
• Prepare, compound and dispense medications including IV admixtures and controlled analgesia
• Verify medication orders, ensure dosing accuracy, and identify drug interactions
• Use EPIC for medication order entry, charting, and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy and safety
• Participate in weekend rotations and scheduled overnight shifts as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and state pharmacy regulations
