Job Requirements
- 2 years of hospital pharmacist or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- PharmD and RPh required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Active Kansas pharmacist license in hand at time of submission
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy, acute care pharmacy, and medication safety
- Comfort with sterile technique and clinical dosing support
Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense medications for inpatient and acute care patient populations
- Support therapeutic drug monitoring and clinical dosing decisions
- Perform renal dosing, anticoagulation therapy management, and warfarin dosing support
- Assist with pediatric dosing, high-alert medications, and IV push medications
- Maintain safe and efficient medication workflows using Pyxis and Epic
- Apply sterile technique and support medication preparation standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
- Float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
