Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology
• Location: Flagstaff, AZ (Northern Arizona)
• Setting: Hospital and in-office clinic coverage
• Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Weekly Commitment: 3-4 weeks per month minimum
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $4,210 - $4,510
• Patient Population: Adults
• Charting System: Cerner
• Orientation: Remote training prior to start, with in-person orientation as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of electrophysiology experience required
• Active Physician Assistant certification required
• DEA registration required
• Active Arizona PA license preferred; candidates who have applied will be considered
• Strong electrophysiology, cardiac care, or EP clinic experience preferred
• Experience supporting adult patients in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams

Responsibilities

• Provide support for electrophysiology care in both hospital and clinic settings
• See follow-up visits, post-operative patients, and same-day appointments
• Assist with post-device checks and procedure follow-ups
• Provide hospital coverage and day-to-day support for the electrophysiology service line
• Work efficiently in a high-volume setting with variable patient flow
• Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining strong documentation and care coordination
