• Position: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Hospital / Inpatient
• Contract Type: Travel contract (13 weeks)
• Start Date: April 27, 2026 (urgent start)
• End Date: July 25, 2026
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,150 – $2,310

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid for New Jersey (or compact state as applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (hospital/inpatient experience preferred)
• Able to start quickly due to urgent need
• Strong communication, clinical documentation, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and rehabilitation

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care/hospital setting and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled interventions focused on mobility, transfers, gait training, balance, strength, and functional independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation staff to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain thorough clinical notes
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans, safety, and home exercise programs
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented inpatient rehab environment and adhere to hospital policies and quality standards
