- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, rotating day times between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
- Weekends/Holidays: No weekends or holidays
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong documentation, organization, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new patients and establish measurable, patient-centered treatment goals
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for adult and pediatric patients
- Administer diagnostic tests to assess impairment, function, and progress
- Perform therapeutic interventions and modify care plans based on patient response
- Document patient care accurately and provide clear communication to caregivers and team members
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures to continue at home
- Support quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards
- Assist with mentoring new staff, as needed
- Provide guidance to PT Assistants, Aides, and students when appropriate
- Maintain statistical records, attend meetings, and complete other related duties as assigned
