Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Newton, MA and South Region communities (Boston metro area)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – Home Health
• Start Date: February 22, 2026
• End Date: May 23, 2026
• Duration: 13-week assignment
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Weekend Rotation: Once every 6 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,260 - $2,430

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in home health or home care physical therapy
• Ability to travel to patient residences across Newton and the South Region
• Proficient in electronic medical documentation
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and teamwork skills

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services to patients in their homes, addressing physical impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities due to injury, illness, or chronic conditions
• Serve a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation in compliance with agency and healthcare standards
• Participate in scheduled weekend rotations
