Qualifications - Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Jobs

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain PA licensure
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting (acute care PT experience preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and safety

Primary Responsibilities - Hospital Physical Therapy

• Evaluate and treat hospitalized patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
• Perform safe transfers, mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and discharge planning
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies
