Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Oklahoma Physical Therapist License or Temporary Letter of Authorization
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to educate and respond to patients and families
• Basic computer proficiency for healthcare documentation
• Effective reasoning and adaptability in clinical settings

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for hospital patients
• Conduct patient evaluations and establish functional goals
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy programs as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and daily charges
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on therapy protocols
• Support departmental operations and assist lead therapists
• Delegate tasks to support staff and train new Physical Therapy team members
• Participate in hospital meetings and ongoing education for healthcare professionals
