Travel Radiologic Technologist needed for a hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) team in Boston, Massachusetts. - Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour days
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; weekend and on-call coverage required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 - $2,920
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred in Interventional Radiology, CT, neuro, or another high-acuity imaging setting
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- Current Massachusetts Radiology license required
- Current ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with GE or Siemens equipment preferred
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Training or experience in neuro, CT, and IR strongly preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and procedural support skills
Responsibilities
- Support interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Perform scrub and circulator duties during diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures
- Assist with thrombectomy, angiography, TIPS, angioplasty, and other advanced vascular procedures
- Maintain excellent patient care, safety, and procedure flow throughout the shift
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the procedural team to ensure smooth case execution
- Provide weekend and on-call coverage as scheduled
- Adapt quickly to weekly orientation and established department protocols
