Radiologic Technologist Job Details
- Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut (06606) – Fairfield County
- Facility Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology & Neuroendovascular Department
- Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract
- Start Date: January 15, 2026
- End Date: April 16, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10 hour days; rotating on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays (on-call starts at 5:30pm weekdays)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2710 - $2920
- Unit Size: 3 procedural rooms
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 (tech to patient per procedure)
- Case Volume: 10-20 cases per day
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology and neuroendovascular procedures (Neuro IR experience strongly preferred)
- Valid Connecticut Radiographer license
- ARRT certification
- RT(R) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and neuroendovascular procedures in a hospital environment
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain advanced radiology imaging equipment following safety protocols
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and complete documentation
- Deliver high-quality patient care and maintain a safe clinical setting
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
