Job Details
- Position: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Location: Everett, Washington
- Setting: Level II Trauma Center, operating room-based IR suite
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
- Call: Required, approximately 5-7 days per month
- Weekend Requirement: On-call only
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440 - $2,620
- Charting System: EPIC
Job Requirements
- 2 years of interventional radiology or special procedures experience required
- ARRT(R) certification required
- Washington State license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and ARRT VI preferred or may be required based on compliance review
- Strong knowledge of contrast administration and sterile technique required
- Experience with angiograms, venous access, nephrograms, and room circulation preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity procedural environment with adult and geriatric patients
- Experience with angiography, embolization, biopsies, stent placement, drains, and ablations is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Assist with a wide range of interventional radiology and special procedures in the operating room and radiology setting
- Prepare equipment, supplies, and procedural rooms for complex vascular and diagnostic cases
- Maintain a sterile field and support safe, efficient workflow during procedures
- Circulate and scrub for procedures such as angiography, venous access, drains, biopsies, and embolization cases
- Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers during daily case progression
- Support advanced interventions including stroke-related procedures, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, and other image-guided treatments
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and readiness throughout the procedural experience
- Document care and procedure details accurately in the charting system
- Participate in on-call coverage and remain flexible for occasional sister-facility support as needed
