Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Travel Jobs – Seattle, Washington Contract
Join an experienced interventional radiology team in Seattle, Washington, as a skilled IR Technologist supporting complex neurovascular, stroke, and vascular procedures. Travel IR Tech Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710–$2,920
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Healthcare Setting: Interventional Radiology; approximately 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Call: Two full weekends during a six-week period and nine weeknights; a 30-minute response time is required when called in
- Floating: Regular shifts and call coverage may include a nearby affiliated campus
Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an interventional radiology technologist, radiologic technologist, or IR Tech
- Strong neurovascular experience and/or experience working with stroke teams
- Valid Washington state license or applicable compact license held at the time of submission
- ARRT(R) certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated proficiency with sterile technique, fluoroscopy, angiography, vascular access, and interventional radiology equipment
- Experience with electronic documentation; Epic familiarity is beneficial
- Ability to participate in call coverage, float as assigned, and respond within the required timeframe
Interventional Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and patients for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
- Scrub and circulate while maintaining a sterile field and supporting safe, efficient procedural workflows
- Assist with neurovascular and peripheral vascular interventions, including thrombolysis, thrombectomy, angiography, stent placement, and embolization
- Support procedures involving Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, TPA, vein sampling, cryoablation, biopsies, biliary and renal interventions, and endovascular procedures
- Monitor patients, recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, and collaborate with the care team during procedures and phase-two recovery
- Provide support for stroke-related cases and other complex inpatient and outpatient interventions
- Maintain equipment, stock supplies, document care accurately, and follow infection prevention and safety standards
- Provide scheduled call coverage and float to a nearby affiliated campus for regular shifts or call assignments as needed
