Travel Sonographer Job Details

Ultrasound Technologist Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months of current sonographer or ultrasound technologist experience
  • Active Colorado license
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT (S) or ARDMS credential
  • Ability to perform abdominal, pelvic, and rule-out DVT examinations
  • Prior hospital ultrasound or diagnostic radiology experience preferred
  • Previous Meditech experience preferred
  • Flexible, kind, and patient-focused approach to care

Diagnostic Sonographer Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with department standards and established protocols
  • Complete abdominal and pelvic imaging studies, including rule-out DVT examinations
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images using the GE LOGIQ E10 ultrasound system
  • Accurately document examinations and patient information in the Meditech electronic medical record
  • Provide compassionate communication and maintain patient comfort throughout each examination
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and the imaging team to support timely patient care
  • Follow hospital safety, infection prevention, and diagnostic imaging department policies
