- Schedule: Block scheduling with every-other-weekend coverage

- Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Work Environment: Epic charting in a busy hospital setting with potential float support between nearby sister facilities
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
- Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license in hand at time of submission
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Strong background in adult critical care and broad respiratory therapy procedures
- Experience supporting family maternity and OB care, including C-sections
- Ability to work a rotating schedule and every other weekend
- Comfort working with a variety of respiratory equipment and high-acuity patient needs
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care across inpatient units in a hospital / acute care setting
- Perform arterial punctures, obtain blood gases, and support diagnostic respiratory testing
- Assist with intubation, extubation, bag-mask ventilation, and airway management
- Manage ventilators and respiratory equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Airvo2, and Panda systems
- Deliver respiratory treatments and support pulmonary hygiene interventions
- Support newborn, maternity, and OB cases, including delivery and C-section coverage as needed
- Respond to a wide variety of respiratory conditions and acute care needs
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, effective patient care
