Respiratory Therapist Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44106
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist Job
• Start Date: January 11, 2026
• End Date: April 11, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1520 - $1640 per week

Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, TB/PPD, Influenza Vaccine, Fit Test)
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Successful completion of skills checklist and competency exams

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care, including patient assessment, treatment, and monitoring in a hospital setting
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, ventilator management, and airway care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document all patient care activities and maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
