• Location: Montgomery, OH 45242 (Cincinnati metro area, Northern Kentucky coverage)
• Setting: Hospital / Acute Care
• Employment Type: 13-week Travel Contract
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• Shift: Night shift – 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 – $1,680
• Openings: 2 Travel RRT positions available
• Floating: Must be able to float to affiliated facilities in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky

Required Qualifications – Respiratory Therapist / RRT

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid Respiratory Therapy license in Ohio and Kentucky, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Availability for night shifts and ability to float between facilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication skills; proficient with EMR charting

Core Responsibilities – Travel Respiratory Therapist

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and intensive therapy to adult and/or pediatric patients as medically prescribed
• Evaluate patients, develop individualized respiratory treatment plans, and update care based on clinical indicators
• Administer physician-ordered respiratory treatments using invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, oxygen therapy, aerosol/nebulizer devices
• Perform chest physiotherapy, secretion clearance, and suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal)
• Monitor patients using pulse oximetry and capnography; review chest x-rays and escalate findings to providers
• Conduct 12-lead EKGs, basic arrhythmia recognition, and pulmonary function studies
• Assist with respiratory procedures including bronchoscopy support, tracheostomy care, chest tube management
• Perform arterial punctures and assess ventilation efficiency
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical ventilators and respiratory equipment
• Follow laboratory testing protocols, handle specimens, and document results accurately in the EMR
• Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS/ACLS guidelines and provide thorough shift-to-shift handoffs
• Communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Support preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting; perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and department operations
