Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required for submission)

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the care team
• Ability to complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time

Key Responsibilities (Hospital SLP)

• Assess patient needs and provide Speech-Language Pathology services consistent with scope of practice and hospital policies
• Develop and carry out appropriate treatment plans based on patient presentation and clinical goals
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to support continuity of care
