Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 9, 2026 – June 8, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 – $1,700
• Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR) – 10 ORs, 330-bed facility
• Shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (10-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Assigned stay-late call during the week and occasional Fri/Sat overnights; holidays as needed
• Scrubs: OR-provided attire
• Role Type: Travel Surgical Tech / Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – perioperative/OR technician role

Qualifications & Certifications

• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or ORT certification required (must have certification in hand prior to submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital/operating room setting
• Experience preferred in orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics (DaVinci), basic endovascular, urology, and neuro cases
• Strong teamwork, communication, and perioperative patient safety skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in a wide variety of surgical procedures including Orthopedics, Total Joints, Robotics, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular/Endovascular, and basic crani/neuro cases
• Prepare operating rooms, set up sterile instrumentation and supplies, and ensure all equipment is sterile and functioning for procedures
• Support surgeons, perioperative RNs, and the surgical team during cases, maintaining appropriate sterile technique and a 1:1 patient focus when required
• Demonstrate proficiency with advanced surgical equipment including DaVinci robot, Endovascular Suite tools, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump
• Participate in assigned call coverage, staying flexible to support case volume and emergent procedures
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude and contribute to a collaborative OR team environment focused on patient safety and quality care
