• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,720 - $1,840 per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room (OR)
• Proficiency in Orthopedics: total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, shoulder scopes and replacements
• Experience with Vascular and Neurosurgery procedures preferred
• Completion of at least 2 previous travel assignments; travel surgical tech experience required
• Successful completion of a prior assignment with your agency
• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Operating Room skills checklist current within 1 year
• 2 supervisory references with dates of employment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Mattoon, IL (local candidates not considered)

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub tech duties and assist nursing staff in surgical patient preparation
• Provide intraoperative assistance in both emergency and scheduled surgical procedures
• Set up and manage sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for orthopedic, vascular, and neuro cases
• Support patient transport, positioning, and supervision pre- and post-procedure
• Maintain a sterile, organized operating room environment and follow sterile technique protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, perioperative nurses, and the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain continuing education and competency in current OR procedures and best practices
