Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
• Location: Winchester, VA 22601 — Winchester, VA travel healthcare job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), 4 shifts per week
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• On-Call Requirements: 6–8 calls per week, including weekends
• Employment Type: Travel Surgical Tech / Operating Room (OR)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CST/OR experience covering robotics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, orthopedics, and trauma
• Hands-on experience with DaVinci robotic systems and orthopedic cases required
• NBSTSA Certification (no exceptions) — Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Virginia state license required (temporary VA license acceptable; must be in pending status)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across specialties including robotics (DaVinci), general, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, orthopedics, and trauma
• Prepare, maintain, and manage the sterile field in the operating room (OR)
• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot DaVinci robotic systems and related OR equipment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, perioperative nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, as part of the travel surgical tech team
