Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of ultrasound or diagnostic imaging experience required
- Active BLS certification required
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN required
- RVT certification required
- Experience performing general abdominal, OB, vascular, and small parts ultrasound studies
- Strong patient care, communication, and image quality skills
- Previous hospital sonography or radiology department experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a hospital-based radiology setting
- Produce accurate, high-quality images for physician interpretation
- Work with patients of varying ages and clinical needs in a professional, compassionate manner
- Follow department protocols and maintain strong attention to detail
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to support efficient workflow
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused imaging environment
- Help support an efficient ultrasound schedule and excellent patient experience
