ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Mission Hills, California

- Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
- Patient Ratio: 2:1
- Charting System: Epic
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Float Requirement: ICU overflow and PCU/Tele as needed
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care experience required
- Strong neuro ICU or neuro critical care experience required
- Current RN license in hand at time of submission
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and LA City Fire Card
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience in a community hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment
- Comfortable floating to like units when needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
- Monitor and manage complex neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and surgical cases
- Support patients requiring ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and advanced ICU interventions
- Assist with lines, drains, chest tubes, and bedside procedures as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and maintain strong clinical awareness
- Provide flexible support by floating to ICU overflow and PCU/Tele when assigned
