- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

- Patient Care Setting: 6-bed unit with variable census and patient assignments
Job Requirements
- Active RN license required
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required; 2 years of med surg experience preferred
- Ability to float to ICU / Med Surg and accept appropriate med surg assignments
- Strong flexibility, adaptability, and critical thinking skills
- Experience caring for post-op GYN and surgical patients preferred
- Comfortable working in a setting with variable nurse-to-patient ratios based on census
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care to ICU and Med Surg patients
- Float as needed and support appropriate med surg nursing assignments
- Monitor and care for patients with a variety of GYN and surgical needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered care
- Adapt quickly to changing unit needs, patient volume, and assignment complexity
- Maintain professional communication, documentation, and nursing standards
- Support a positive, team-oriented environment in a busy acute care setting
