Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience in a high-acuity critical care or adult ICU environment preferred
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a travel nurse assignment setting
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support individualized care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered critical care environment
- Support unit workflow while delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced healthcare setting
