Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma environment preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity setting
- Ability to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support individualized patient plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive critical care environment
- Support patients and families with professionalism, compassion, and clear communication
