- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active RN license (Massachusetts RN or RN Compact License accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required (Critical Care Nurse / ICU RN)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and rotating holidays (night shift experience preferred)
- Successful completion of facility-specific onboarding, skills checklist, and orientation
- Compliance with required health screenings, immunizations, and background checks
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU (critical care nursing duties)
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, vital signs, and clinical changes
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists) to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on conditions, care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff; follow infection control and patient safety protocols
