- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May float to like units or a nearby sister facility on rare occasions
- Charting System: Epic EMR
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
Job Requirements
- 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Experience in a Level II Trauma environment required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
- Strong critical care nursing skills with comfort managing high-acuity, complex patients
- Must be open to every-other-weekend coverage and occasional floating
Responsibilities
- Provide expert bedside care to ICU patients with cardiac, neuro, med-surg, and trauma diagnoses
- Monitor and manage ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, sedation, and other advanced ICU therapies
- Support care for patients requiring arterial lines, central lines, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EVD management
- Perform ongoing assessments, interpret rhythms and labs, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary partners
- Deliver safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
- Adapt to changing assignments and support like units or nearby sister facilities as needed
