Job Details

• Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
• Location: Vicksburg, MS 39183 (Vicksburg, Mississippi travel nursing)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); rotating weekends (Night shift ICU RN)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel RN / Travel ICU Nurse)
• On-Site Position: Required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Mississippi or compact state) — must meet state licensing for Travel RN roles
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience as an ICU RN or critical care nurse
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (per travel assignment policy)

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN or other critical care certification preferred
• Experience with hospital EMR systems and interdisciplinary team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures per provider orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient status in the EMR
• Support unit needs by floating to other departments when required by the facility
