Travel nursing job: Infusion RN needed in Crescent City, CA—chemo-certified oncology nurse with Epic experience and active California RN license required. Join our outpatient infusion center and deliver compassionate chemotherapy and immunotherapy care in a scenic Northern California community.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 – $2,200 (Travel Nurse pay)
- Assignment Duration: 8 weeks (May 18, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
- Shift: Day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (08:00 – 16:30), with occasional weekend coverage
- Hours per Week: 40
- Setting: Outpatient Infusion Center (Chemo Certified Unit) — oncology infusion nursing role
- Patient Ratio: 1:3
- Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Infusion RN experience; chemo-certified required (ONS Chemo Therapy Immunotherapy Provider Card)
- Active California RN license (must be active at time of submission)
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record (Epic charting required)
- 7-year work history verification required
- Must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing
- Charge experience and community hospital experience preferred — ideal for oncology nurses and chemotherapy RNs
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions to adult oncology patients following chemo-certified protocols
- Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines; perform IV starts and phlebotomy
- Monitor patients for infusion-related reactions and medical emergencies (e.g., anaphylaxis, tumor lysis syndrome) and respond appropriately
- Operate and maintain infusion pumps and equipment; manage cytotoxic spills per policy
- Provide patient and family education on infusion therapies, side-effect management, and emotional support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including pharmacy, physicians, and unit secretaries
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow isolation and safety precautions
