Job Details - Travel PTA / Physical Therapy Assistant

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1810 - $1940
• Location: Rugby, North Dakota (ND) - zip 58368 — PTA jobs in North Dakota, travel therapy jobs
• Setting: Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Outpatient (majority outpatient)
• Contract Duration: 24 weeks (6/22/2026 – 12/7/2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days, 8:30am to 5pm, Monday–Friday
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Dress Code: Business casual or workout attire; scrubs allowed (no specific color)
• Charting System: EPIC (EPIC EMR experience is a plus)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license; ND license preferred or eligibility for North Dakota licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• At least 1 year of PTA experience preferred; flexible for clinicians with strong skills in select areas
• Ability to provide care across multiple settings: acute, rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus

Responsibilities - Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Treat approximately 7–10 patients per day with varied diagnoses including geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric cases
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatments under indirect supervision following plan of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to provide patient-centered rehabilitation
• Accurately document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC or facility EMR
• Participate in department orientation, facility tours, and team meetings
• Provide coverage across therapy areas as needed; maintain flexibility based on caseload and experience
