Travel Interventional Radiology RN – Rockford, IL | 13-week contract. Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) or Radiology Nurse for 10-hour evening shifts in an acute care radiology unit. Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or willingness to obtain (Illinois nursing jobs / travel RN applicants welcome)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or acute care nursing (IR RN / Radiology Nurse experience)
- Ability to work in a drug-free campus environment
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure)
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures and recovery
- Assist physicians and radiology staff with patient preparation, positioning, and procedural support
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EPIC and other clinical records
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and sterile work environment in the IR suite
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and patient throughput
