Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience, including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care of mother and newborn
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS required
- Epic EHR experience required
- Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to travel between points of care and use a personal automobile for work assignments
- Strong flexibility and adaptability for a float pool or multi-unit healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in Labor & Delivery and related mother-baby care settings
- Support labor management, delivery care, and postpartum assessments
- Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
- Float as needed to multiple points of care within the assigned network
- Document patient care accurately using Epic
- Maintain flexibility for rotating weekend coverage and shifting assignment priorities
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care while adapting to a dynamic women’s health environment
