Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications
- Experience in labor and delivery, mother/baby, or newborn care settings
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
- Ability to work scheduled night shifts and every third weekend
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process
- Support mother/baby and newborn care needs within a dynamic maternal health unit
- Monitor patients, assess changes in condition, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Educate and support patients and families during an important and exciting time
