Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Oakland, Maryland

Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby team in an acute-care, Level I unit averaging approximately 20 deliveries per month. Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Maryland
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current STABLE certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends as scheduled
- Strong maternal-child nursing assessment, communication, teamwork, and emergency-response skills
Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period
- Care for newborns and support families throughout the Mother-Baby experience
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Assist with deliveries and provide timely interventions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Support the stabilization and transfer of patients or newborns requiring a higher level of care
- Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical protocols
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
- Promote patient education, safety, comfort, and family-centered care
