Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 - $2,920
• Location: Farmington, CT 06032 — Connecticut cath lab jobs / CT travel cath lab tech opportunity
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 1, 2026 – July 30, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (9:00 AM start with on-call duties)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Minor Holidays: Required
• On-call: Included (participate in on-call rotation)
• Mandatory Overtime: May be required as part of unit rotation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an invasive cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
• Completion of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Program with certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required — experience with electronic medical records in hospital cath lab settings
• Covid and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious declination accepted)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment (fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitors, consoles)
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and procedural supplies for cardiac cath procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic EMR and hospital documentation systems
• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide coverage for minor holidays as required
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards for the cardiac cath lab
• Float to other clinical units within scope of practice and clinical competence as needed
