Job Details — Travel Cath Lab Technologist

• Assignment Type: Travel (Travel Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiac Cath Lab Tech)
• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Peoria healthcare, Illinois cath lab jobs)
• Setting: Acute Care, Cardiac Cath Lab (cardiac catheterization lab)
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• End Date: July 20, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week, with rotating weekend and night call; on-call rotation required
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 – $2,920 (competitive travel pay)
• Charting System: EPIC (experience with EPIC, PACS, McKesson preferred)
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital

Qualifications — Cath Lab Tech Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience (cardiac cath lab, cardiovascular technologist)
• Active Illinois state license or proof of application (Illinois licensure required or in process)
• Required certifications: ARRT (or equivalent), BLS; IEMA required
• Ability to participate in rotational call (weekends, nights, holidays) and respond to call within 30 minutes
• Experience with EPIC, PACS, and McKesson systems preferred
• Must pass a negative drug screen (drug-free campus compliance)

Responsibilities — Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

• Perform scrub, monitor hemodynamics, and circulate duties in a busy cath lab with 6 suites
• Assist with 10–15 cases per day, supporting cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional cardiology teams
• Monitor patient status, document procedures, and ensure safety and accuracy in all interventions
• Document patient information and procedural details accurately using EPIC and other hospital systems
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent cases according to facility call policy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes in the cardiac cath lab
• Adhere to hospital policies, sterile technique, dress code, and call-off procedures
