- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state license required)
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired) — bedside nurse experience in acute or LTAC settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, documenting findings and care plans for continuity of care
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient rehabilitation and recovery
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—demonstrating strong clinical judgment as an LTAC nurse
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner to meet regulatory and facility standards
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission to support transitions of care
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure patient safety and continuity of care
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees as needed
- Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control practices, and LTAC care protocols
- Contribute positively to team building and a supportive unit environment—strong collaboration and communication skills required
- Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs to support high-quality LTAC nursing care
- Assume charge responsibilities as requested after orientation
- Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study to advance clinical skills and LTAC nursing expertise
