• Setting: Long Term Care (LTC) – skilled nursing / nursing home environment
• Employment Type: Travel, Full-Time
• Start Date: March 31, 2026
• End Date: July 11, 2026
• Shifts: Day/Evening shift variables, scheduled as needed (7.5-hour shifts); every weekend and holidays required
• Hours per Week: 40
• Number of Positions: 3
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $960-$1030

Job Requirements

• Active New York State Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) required
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• At least 1 year of experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) or CNA role
• Ability to work every weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents and respond promptly to call lights and alarms
• Support residents' nutritional needs including meal delivery, tray prep, and feeding assistance
• Assist with rehabilitative and restorative care such as range of motion exercises, ambulation, and transfers
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to supervising nurses in a timely manner
• Uphold residents' rights, dignity, and safety; promptly report concerns or refusals to the charge nurse
• Follow infection control and safety protocols, including proper handling of potential occupational exposures
