• Setting: Long-Term Care Facility (LTC)
• Employment Type: Travel, Full-Time
• Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 5 shifts per week — night shift CNA role
• Shift Duration: 7.5 hours per shift (37.5 hours/week)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/5/2026 – End: 8/1/2026)
• Orientation: Must be available for full-day orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting (resident care, ADLs)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) required
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI) required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care) according to individual care plans
• Maintain resident safety and a clean environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, and implementing fall prevention strategies
• Support residents during meals, including tray delivery, feeding assistance, and accommodating dietary preferences
• Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs: range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, and proper positioning
• Take and accurately record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), weight, intake, and output
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures for residents
• Provide social and emotional support through interaction, companionship, and person-centered care
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times in compliance with facility and NYS regulations
• Report resident concerns, clinical changes, or refusals to the nurse promptly
• Complete all required documentation and electronic charting in a timely and accurate manner per protocol
