Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-time travel night shift in Waterloo, NY. Help provide compassionate long-term care to residents in the Finger Lakes region. Weekly pay: $900–$970.

- Setting: Long-Term Care Facility (LTC)
- Employment Type: Travel, Full-Time
- Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 5 shifts per week — night shift CNA role
- Shift Duration: 7.5 hours per shift (37.5 hours/week)
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/5/2026 – End: 8/1/2026)
- Orientation: Must be available for full-day orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting (resident care, ADLs)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) required
- BLS certification (AHA or RQI) required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care) according to individual care plans
- Maintain resident safety and a clean environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, and implementing fall prevention strategies
- Support residents during meals, including tray delivery, feeding assistance, and accommodating dietary preferences
- Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs: range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, and proper positioning
- Take and accurately record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), weight, intake, and output
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures for residents
- Provide social and emotional support through interaction, companionship, and person-centered care
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents' rights at all times in compliance with facility and NYS regulations
- Report resident concerns, clinical changes, or refusals to the nurse promptly
- Complete all required documentation and electronic charting in a timely and accurate manner per protocol
