Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico or active compact LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet contract dates
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document medication administration
- Monitor and record vital signs, clinical changes, and resident progress in electronic or paper charts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (RNs, CNAs, therapists, social workers) to support care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident independence and dignity
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for residents and staff; follow infection control policies
