Travel LPN/LVN Job Details

- End Date: January 25, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,010–$1,060
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.
- Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients
- Typical Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:7
LPN/LVN Job Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN license eligible for practice in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of acute-care nursing experience; inpatient rehabilitation or med-surg experience is strongly valued
- Completion of an approved practical nursing program or other nursing education applicable to the LPN/LVN role
- Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation setting
Inpatient Rehabilitation LPN/LVN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout the inpatient rehabilitation process
- Monitor patient conditions, identify changes in status, and communicate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established orders and protocols
- Support patients recovering from stroke, amputation, major surgery, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic injuries
- Assist with mobility, activities of daily living, skin integrity, fall prevention, and other individualized care needs
- Collaborate with registered nurses, providers, therapists, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
- Promote patient education, safety, independence, and progress toward rehabilitation goals
