- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 4/6/2026 – End: 7/6/2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel LPN / Travel nursing contract
Job Requirements
- Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of New Mexico (compact licenses accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care, nursing home, or similar LTC setting
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (travel nurse schedule)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
- Monitor, assess, and document resident health status, changes, and care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RNs, CNAs, therapists, social work) to ensure optimal resident outcomes
- Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and care coordination as needed
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and long-term care best practices
