Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Contract | La Follette, TN

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230 – $1,300
- Location: La Follette, TN 37766 — Tennessee LPN jobs / travel nursing in Tennessee
- Setting: Short Term Rehab & Long Term Care Facility (Skilled Nursing Facility)
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 1:17 (primarily skilled unit)
- Number of Beds: 17 skilled, 55 long term care
- EMR: PointClickCare / Point Click Care experience preferred
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
Job Requirements
- Active Tennessee LPN license (must be in good standing)
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- IV certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of long term care or skilled nursing experience
- Medication administration and strong clinical patient care skills
- Ability to supervise and support CNAs / assistive staff
- Wound care experience preferred
- Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (per travel nursing requirements)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to short term rehab and long term care residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Perform medication administration, assessments, and routine nursing procedures
- Conduct rounds, document accurately, and maintain timely EMR entries in PointClickCare
- Supervise, mentor, and support CNAs and assistive personnel
- Perform wound care, assist with restorative nursing, and support rehab plans of care
- Float to long term care units as required to meet resident needs
