LPN Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active LPN license (must be valid for practice; Pennsylvania license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of visible experience as an LPN in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting (CNA experience does not count toward total experience)
- Ability to complete OAPSA requirements if not a Pennsylvania resident
- Flexibility to work varying daytime shifts as needed
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
LPN Responsibilities – Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility (LTC nurse duties)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility protocols
- Monitor and document resident health and progress (including accurate charting/EMR documentation)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal resident outcomes
- Assist with activities of daily living and support resident comfort and dignity
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and Pennsylvania state regulations
