LPN Qualifications and Requirements

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Vermont

  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to work every weekend shift
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and included in contract (no holiday RTO approved)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

LPN Responsibilities in Long Term Care

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a long term care facility
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; promptly report changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist residents with daily living activities and promote overall well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
