Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care (LTC) Job in Baldwyn, Mississippi

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of LTAC or long-term care nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a high-acuity long-term care environment
- Flexibility to float within competency and adapt to changing patient care needs
- Availability for required orientation and compliance timelines before the start date
- Ability to successfully complete a rhythm strip assessment as part of the onboarding process
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care and post-acute patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and care plans
- Support patients with complex needs, including trach care and geriatric care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to promote safe, compassionate patient outcomes
- Adapt to patient assignments and float when needed within scope and competency
- Deliver reliable, patient-centered care in a fast-paced long-term care setting
